The Asia Song Festival 2010 was held at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul yesterday (October 23rd). With six countries in attendance and many formidable AKB48 was the only Japanese group to perform at the festival. They sang a total of three songs: “Ponytail to Shushu”, “Aitakatta”, and “Heavy Rotation”.

AKB48 performed alongside Korean artists 2AM, 4MINUTE, Nine Muses, B2ST, BoA, E.Via, KARA, Lee Seung Chul, Rain, Rainbow, and TEEN TOP. Other visiting artists included Jane Zhang from China, Joe Cheng from Taiwan, Bie The Star from Thailand, and Michael Wong from Malaysia.
