Ikimonogakari to receive their first “million sold” certificate
It’s been announced that J-pop trio, Ikimonogakari, will receive a special certificate from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for selling 1 million copies of their best album “Ikimono Bakari ~Members BEST Selection~” on December 10th.

Ikimonogakari’s album sold more than 457,000 copies in its first week last month. Oricon data states that up til now, it has sold more than 822,000 units.

Ikimonogakari’s certification from RIAJ will be the second one awarded this year – the first artist to receive the ‘million copies sold’ recognition was Arashi with their “Boku no Miteiru Fuukei” album.

Congratulations to the trio!
