SPEED starts the first 3D music program
J-pop group, SPEED, will be the first to appear on Japan’s first 3D music show, “Panasonic 3D MUSIC STUDIO”. Satellite channel BS Asahi joined Panasonic to give Japan its first 3D music program. The show will air Monday through Friday at 11:50 PM – 12:00 AM. The program will have a different guest each week, and the artist of that week will include a performance of 1 or 2 songs.

The concept behind the show is to have viewers “thoroughly enjoy a private concert in their living room every night.” Not to mention, encouraging consumers to get a 3D-TV. Because of the time-slot, both companies are targeting older audiences.

While there have been programs aired in 3D, this will be Japan’s first regular program in 3D.
