AKB48 held the live event, “AKB48 Tokyo Autumn Festival” on October 9th at Kasai Rinkai Park. “Yuru yuru Karaoke” by AKB48 members was held in the day time, and the live concert was held at night. AKB48 performed their upcoming single “Beginner” for the very first time, and although it was held in adverse weather conditions, 13,000 fans rushed to the event.

AKB48’s sister unit(s), SKE48, and SDN48 also participated in the event. SDN48 performed their debut song, “GAGAGA” which will be released on November 24th, and aroused the audience.

There was also a surprise appearance of NMB48 which was just recently formed. The group consists of 26 girls who passed the audition as the first generation members of NMB48, and each member introduced themselves to the audience.

Another live event will also be held on the 10th at the same venue.
