Many Japanese musicians have been writing songs to support earthquake victims, and recently, Jazz-fusion band orange pekoe has joined them in these efforts with their new track, “Tomoshibi“.
Members Nagashima Tomoko and Fujimoto Kazuma wrote the song as a “song of prayer” for the earthquake victims and to those involved with the relief effort. Still, it’s a touching piece that really shows the musicians’ thoughtfulness from beginning to end.
