Sakai Noriko, a popular actress who was convicted of drug possession last year, will publish an autobiography titled “Shokuzai” on December 3rd. Sakai was charge with violating the Stimulant Drug Control Laws, and is currently under probation.
The book will consists of eight chapters (224 pages long), through which she will talk about her background, her glorious days as a celebrity, as well as the drug scandal and family. She dedicates two whole chapters on the topics related to drugs, and even explains why she could not stop.
According to the publisher, Sakai accepted the offer to publish the book in order to explain the truth of the incident, and how seriously pervasive and widespread drugs can be.
